Teetwal | ‘Aman Ka Pul’, the 104-Foot Tiranga Soaring Over LoC Becomes Historical Place for Tourism After independence, Teetwal is being written in golden letters in the history of Kashmir. Where I am standing in Teetwal, the land was divided and one half went to PoK and another to Kashmir. The ‘Aman Ka Pul’ bridge is our salvation. We are celebrating Azmat-e-Hind by putting our Indian flag. This flag of India that we are waving will give a message of peace in both the countries India and Pakistan. This will also give a message to the world that India is a country of peace and tranquility. And it wants to establish good relations with every country in the world, especially with its neighbours. Since 1947 we used to think that whether this area will ever come on the tourism map or not. We are grateful to the Army for bringing it on the tourism map, said locals. This Tiranga is 104 feet high. Our struggle is being shown so high. The pride of India, our tricolour should remain high. This tricolour is special because it is being hoisted over the LoC. We request people to come to Teetwal and see the 104 feet high tiranga, visit Sharda Mandir, get all the facilities available at reasonable rates, homestays are available. In winter, you will get the chance to ski for free. We provide equipment and you will get all kinds of facilities here, said the locals.
