The motorbike rally is being organised as part of the nationwide observance of Kargil Vijay Diwas, celebrated every year on July 26 to commemorate India’s victory in the 1999 Kargil War and honour the courage, determination and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces.

During the expedition, the women riders will travel through various districts of Jammu and Kashmir, meeting the families of martyrs, expressing the nation’s gratitude, and sharing stories of courage and patriotism with local communities. The initiative seeks to inspire young people by highlighting the extraordinary sacrifices made by India’s soldiers in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
