In the ongoing joint operation of the Indian Army, J&K Police & CRPF, one terrorist has been neutralised and one more is likely injured. The 9 Para Special Forces troops were part of the joint operation team of security forces. The 9 Para Special Forces suffered five casualties in the operation on May 5, 2023. Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha & Northern Army Commander paid tributes to the army personnel killed during the Rajouri encounter.
