41 Terror Victims’ Families Rehabilitated in Jammu: LG Manoj Sinha Assures Justice On July 28, during a program held in the same area, appointment letters were handed over to 41 Next of Kins (NoKs), the families of several people who had lost their lives in terrorism in Jammu Division, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. All these families were living in the shadow of fear and terror for a long time. Due to the discriminatory system, they had to face double trouble here. On one hand, the terrorists had darkened their homes and on the other hand, the government and administration showed such insensitivity due to which such people were forced to live on the margins. Among the many works in Jammu and Kashmir, one of our resolutions was how the society can move forward by eradicating the fear of the past, said the Lieutenant Governor. A lot of progress has been made in almost every field, but there were some wounds that remained, which were yet to be healed. I want to tell you that the Jammu and Kashmir Police Administration is with you. Following the values of democracy and the ideals of social justice, it will be ensured that every family gets adequate opportunity to live a dignified life. I also want to appreciate the courage and patience of all the family members today. They kept a lamp of hope burning even after so many years, LG remarked. I assure the terror-affected families that justice will be done to you, you will be fully rehabilitated and your families will be fully integrated with the mainland of the country. This will be ensured at all costs, assured the J&K Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha.
