30 Years of Silence… Anantnag Family of Terror Victims Finally Heard | Thanks to LG Manoj Sinha The incident happened in 2006, Yatin Tantary of Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir, belonging to a terror victims’ family said he was very small at the time when his father was killed by the militants. His brother Mohd Amin Tantary said they miss their father specially on Eid and big occasions. Our mother raised us but she had to face many difficulties. We had to get our sister married off. For thirty years, our mother went to many doors, but she faced rejection everywhere. Today, we feel so grateful to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha who healed our wounds. In thirty years, no one listened to us. But the current LG of J&K heard us out. He gave us assurance of livelihood. He gave us happiness. For us, the biggest happiness is that in thirty years, for the first time, someone listened to us. Today, our homes will be illuminated again, said Yatin Tantary, son of a terror victims’ family from Anantnag, J&K.
