Ramban, July 26,2026- The 19th batch of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims safely crossed Chanderkote in Ramban district on Sunday under a comprehensive security arrangement as the annual pilgrimage continues smoothly.
The convoy, escorted by security personnel, proceeded towards the Kashmir Valley amid multi-layered security measures put in place by the administration and security agencies to ensure the safety of the pilgrims. Authorities have deployed adequate personnel along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, with regular monitoring and traffic management to facilitate the smooth movement of Yatra vehicles.
The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has witnessed a steady flow of devotees from across the country, with the administration providing essential facilities, including medical aid, sanitation, accommodation, and emergency response services along the route.
Officials said the Yatra is progressing in a well-coordinated manner, with security agencies maintaining heightened vigilance to ensure a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage for all devotees.
