₹11 Crore PMGSY bridge in Tral boosts connectivity

Tral , May 17, 2026- A major infrastructure milestone has been achieved in Tral with the completion of a ₹11 crore bridge under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), significantly improving connectivity for lakhs of residents across hundreds of villages in the region.

The newly completed bridge is expected to strengthen road access and ease transportation for local commuters, students, patients and traders. It will provide smoother connectivity between Tral, Awantipora and Srinagar, reducing travel difficulties and improving overall mobility for the public.
